CHS is hosting 8th Grade Parent Night in the cafeteria tonight beginning at 6 p.m. We encourage all parents/guardians of 8th grade students to attend. Students are also welcome.
1st Grade made Pumpkin Pie in a Cup. They worked in small groups to help mix the filling and they made their own crust by smashing a graham cracker. The pie was assembled and topped with whipped cream if they wanted it. They had a great time making the recipe, but their favorite part was eating the pumpkin pie.
Thank you to Centralia Fire Department and Sparky the Fire Dog for teaching us about fire safety.
Thank you to the Daughters of the American Revolution for donating a Little Library to our school! It is located next to the main doors. Come get a book or leave one for others!

In honor of 9/11, some of our classes started their day with the Pledge of Allegiance and a discussion about the events that occurred 23 years today.
