1st Grade enjoyed celebrating the 100th Day of School. They participated in several activities that included the number 100. They played Chutes and Ladders, rolled their way to 100, built a 100 piece puzzle, created structures with 100 cups, and flipped a coin 100 times to see if they flipped more heads or tails.
Thank you to the 8th Grade students who helped lead each activity. The 1st graders had a great time and enjoyed having their help.
Tonight's volleyball game against New Horizon has been rescheduled for tomorrow 1/30/24 at Willow Grove with a 5:30 JV start time
Due to the forecast calling for freezing rain Monday January 22nd willow grove school will take a snow day.
Kindergarten spent the past couple days learning about Martin Luther King Jr. and really enjoyed making their hats!

Tonight's (1/16/24) basketball game vs the Trinity-St. Mary's Defenders has been cancelled. This game will not be rescheduled.
Due to extreme cold temperatures and possibility of some snow Willow Grove School will take E-learning day Tuesday January 16th.
First Grade is Shining Bright Like Rudolph is their sparkling, lighted, and bright clothes and attire. They are also shining bright with the skills and knowledge they have already gained within the classroom throughout the first half of the school year.

Chris won Withers Broadcasting's "Letters of Thanksgiving". He received many wonderful gifts from area businesses, and the 8th grade class enjoyed a pizza party from Joes, ice cream from Yellin Helen's and got to make a flower arrangement from Lena's Flower's & Things. Thank you to Withers Broadcasting and all the area businesses that made this possible! Chris and his 8th grade class really enjoyed their afternoon!
8th grade completed an Escape Room all about Thanksgiving. Students worked with partners to follow the clues, decipher the codes, and find the access code that would save the turkeys. Everyone found the right code and all teams saved the turkeys in loess than 69 minutes!
